About Us

St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea is a multi-generational church family of people who are living out of authentic, messy spirituality and genuine worship.

We are a church where the rubber meets the road in mission and outreach.

We believe that God’s love knows no limits and extends to everyone regardless of race, color, creed, gender, nationality, sexual preference or economic status.

We are a church family that supports those in recovery from the struggles of life, including addiction, abuse, grief, and economic hardship.

At St. Andrew’s, you don’t have to look like the “cool kids” to come to church.  Those of us with money and those of us without stand side by side in faith, fellowship and mission.

Our church family is full of people willing to ask question and think, doubt and trust, try and fail, as we travel the journey of faith together.

9:00: Worship Service with our Light Reigns Band
10:30: Worship Service with our Sanctuary Choir
10:30: Youth Sunday School in the Youth Center
* Child Care and Sunday School during both services
** Please join us for complimentary coffee and refreshments from 8:30-11:45

What should I expect?

Expect to find loving, open arms, welcoming you in Christian love.

How do I get there?

From I-5, exit east on Pico, left at Calle Frontera, up the hill and left at the first driveway in to the church parking lot.

What do I wear?

Think of St. Andrew's by-the-Sea as a second home. Be comfortable. Dress up a little. Whatever you like. You'll find our members wearing a wide variety of clothing styles, so whatever you wear, you'll fit right in.

What is there for my kids?

St. Andrew's by-the-Sea has Christ-centered programs for all ages. Our nursery, sunday school, and youth group are curriculum-driven programs designed to engage all ages while enriching their education and deepening their understanding of the Christian faith.
