Help Japan Victims

United Methodists and friends are urged to pray for the people of Japan and support UMCOR’s relief efforts through giving.

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is working through relief and church partners in Japan to respond to the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear explosions.  Current partners include Global Medic and the United Church of Christ in Japan.  UMCOR serving as the denomination’s conduit for financial contributions. The immediate response includes meeting the most pressing basic humanitarian needs of surrounding communities in damaged areas in northern Japan: drinking water, basic food, basic cooking and eating supplies, clothing, and fuel.

Give to Pacific Emergency, UMCOR Advance #3021317. Please write the Advance # and project name on the memo line of your check.

“The Seekers” Adult Sunday School Class

“The Seekers” Adult Sunday School class meets in the RIO Center Sundays from 8:45 to 10:00am.  The RIO Center is located at the entrance of our driveway on the right-hand side.  For those with a preference for caffeine, coffee is provided.

Join us as we study various books and topics that will expand your understanding of fellowship and Christianity.   For more information, or to get the latest study book, call Kitty Carretti, 366-3687 or Maureen Smith, 498-1713.

From I-5, exit east on Pico, left at Calle Frontera, up the hill and left at the first driveway in to the church parking lot.

What do I wear?

Think of St. Andrew's by-the-Sea as a second home. Be comfortable. Dress up a little. Whatever you like. You'll find our members wearing a wide variety of clothing styles, so whatever you wear, you'll fit right in.

What is there for my kids?

St. Andrew's by-the-Sea has Christ-centered programs for all ages. Our nursery, sunday school, and youth group are curriculum-driven programs designed to engage all ages while enriching their education and deepening their understanding of the Christian faith.
